Niemann Foods, inc. IS PROUD TO SUPPORT PRODUCE FOR BETTER HEALTH FOUNDATION
Quincy, Illinois. – Niemann Foods, Inc and it’s County Market grocery stores are pleased to announce their continued support for the Produce for Better Health Foundation (PBH) and the national health campaign, Fruits & Veggies—More Matters®. Over the past 20 years, PBH has consistently worked to help consumers understand the importance of including a variety of fruits and vegetables in daily meals and snacks for their better health. The ‘all forms’ message has also been a consistent message to consumers so that they know fresh, frozen, canned, dried and 100% fruit and vegetable juice all matter.
The consumer-oriented resources PBH offers are a great compliment to Niemann Foods, Inc and County Market efforts. The Fruits & Veggies—More Matters website is a great resource for the industry to direct consumers to for tips, recipes, and meal planning tools. PBH also has a website for children, 2-8, where they can have fun while learning about the benefits of fruits and vegetables.
“We are proud to continue our support of PBH and Fruits & Veggies—More Matters; we believe our customers benefit the PBH program.” Gerry Kettler, Director of Consumer Affairs.
“We are very excited and appreciative for the support from County Market grocery stores,” Elizabeth Pivonka, Ph.D., R.D., president and CEO of PBH, the nonprofit group behind the Fruits & Veggies—More Matters national health campaign. “PBH achieves success through the generous support of our donors and could not have accomplished what we have over the last 20 years without them!”
